New York (AP) – Federal prosecutors say they are investigating employees who allegedly filed complaints after being fired for allegedly retaliating against them.
U.S. Attorney William Sweeney said in a statement that his office is reviewing the complaint filed last week by the U.S.-based Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
The complaint accuses the company of retaliating for retaliating on a worker’s race, sexual orientation and gender identity.
The complaint also alleges that one employee filed a complaint with the EEOC after being told that she would be fired if she did not comply with company policies.
The company has said the employee’s complaints were baseless.
